It is the policy of Kampala Cement Company limited to manufacture and supply quality cement for the building industry. A key way to strategically position ourselves as the market leader in Uganda and the East African Community is through operating Quality Management System (QMS) in accordance with the requirements of ISO 9001:2015.

In order to achieve this Top Management is committed to: -

  1. Satisfying applicable requirements by ensuring that customer and applicable requirements are determined, understood and constantly met;
  2. Continual improvement of the QMS by ensuring the risks and opportunities that can affect conformity of products and services and the ability to enhance customer satisfaction are determined and addressed and the focus on enhancing customer satisfaction is maintained;
  3. Provide all necessary resources and take accountability for the effective ness of the QMS.
  4. Sustaining modern technology in manufacturing and developing complementary products so as to add value to the business;
  5. Facilitating and enhancing professionalism, employee loyalty and worldwide business relationships, supported by strategic staff skills development, mentoring, training and motivation.
  6. Setting and regularly reviewing our quality objectives to ensure effectiveness, sustainability and continual improvement;
  7. Communicating this policy within the organization and various interested parties to enhance their commitment to these ideals.

We hereby certify that this Quality Manual and the Standard Operating Procedures Manual accurately describes the Quality System in use within the Organization to meet the requirements of ISO 9001:2015.

The Quality System will be monitored, measured, evaluated and enhanced regularly under the Top Management’s ultimate responsibility, with regular reporting and communication of the status and effectiveness at all levels.
